42 Reflection

Discrimination is judging someone by their race, color, gender, religion, sexuality, disability, age, ect. Instead of judging someone by their competence you judge them by their appearance or how they define their sexuality. Nowadays you can apply for a job or go to school and you can be the smartest or you can have all the qualities the job is looking for but not get accepted because of your appearance or how you define yourself. Especially in school, lots of children are being discriminated because of the type of music they listen to or the color of their skin, or even the people they hang out with. It all ties to stereo types.  Once I was walking down the hall and saw kids arguing because one said they didn't want to be friends with the other because they hang out with the "lame" people.
